Are you ready to learn who the 3 Finalists are?

Over 30 designs where submitted for the El Portal: The Village’s New Logo Contest. And all of them were unique creations. But only 3 could make it to the final round. And on Tuesday, January 24, those 3 finalists were selected!

Here they are:

1. David Alvarez

Alvarez’s design radiates with the strong, bold colors of blue and gold with a black backdrop and a bright green peacock as the centerpiece of the crisp, clean logo. How presidential looking!

2. Jorge Molina

Molina’s design is an artistic and eye-capturing seal. The peacock front and center is ornate and majestic looking. The design that surrounds the peacock is warm and inviting – Especially, the yellowish-orange skyline!

3. S. K. Holmes

Holmes’ design incorporates all the elements of El Portal’s rich history in the logo. From the Village’s sanctuary peacock to the beautiful oak tree, every detail is there – no matter how big or small!

El Portal 3rd Annual Art Fair

The El Portal 3rd Annual Art Fair, which will take place at the Antiques & Design Mall (8650 Biscayne Blvd. Miami FL, 33138), kicks off on February 3rd with a Grand Opening night that commences at 7:00pm with a Unveiling Reception. The Unveiling Reception will open the doors to the Art Fair’s impressive outdoor-tented art gallery space with artwork from over 20 artists, live performance art and the announcement of the Village’s new logo contest winner at 7:30pm.

Immediately following the Unveiling Reception on February 3rd will be the Art Fair’s live concert. The live concert will include the headlining act Spam Allstars, a live DJ, food trucks and live performance art from 9:00pm to 11:00pm. Did we remind you that the Art Fair is free to the public with complimentary parking too – how amazing is that!

Village of El Portal Art Fair – Art Exhibit Day 2 will include a gallery exhibition with meet and greets from the artists, live performance art, the beautiful melodies of Nicolle Chirino and family fun, kid activities focused on artistic expression. Day two will also include the Village’s Inaugural Fresh Food Farmers Market. All the day’s activities will be throughout the day from 10:00am to 6:00pm.
